CHUCK WAS HANDLED BY OUR 13 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER IN THE HUNT TESTS ON JAN 16 & 17, 2010 AT THE HOLTH RANCH IN CALDWELL, TX. HER AND CHUCK WERE A DECENT TEAM. HE HAD TO SHOW HER HOW TO TRUST HIS KNOWLEDGE IN BIRD FINDING, BUT AFTER THE 1ST DAY AND THE 1ST PASS TOWARD HIS JH TITLE, THE SECOND DAY SEEMED A LITTLE EASIER, BUT CHUCK DID TAKE ADVANTAGE OF KRISTA'S INEXPERIENCE. ALTHOUGH HE PASSED THE 2ND DAY FOR HIS 2ND LEG OF HIS HUNT TEST, KRISTA WILL HAVE TO WORK WITH HIM JUST A LITTLE MORE! WE LOOK FORWARD TO PASSING HIS LAST 2 LEGS AT THE IRISH SETTER CLUB TEST ON JAN 23 & 24 AT THE HOLTH RANCH IN CALDWELL TX!

Chuck passed both his tests on Jan 23 & 24 at the Holth Ranch in Caldwell TX at the Irish Setter Club of Houston's Hunt Test. He worked like a dream and was run by our 13 year old daughter! He hunted the terrain and used the wind at his advantage. I believe that Chuck taught our daughter a few things in the last couple weekends of the hunt tests, yet, even he has a lot to learn! Chuck will go on to work on either his SH title or will be broke for the walking field trials. We will make that decision this summer during training. He is now a Junior Hunter! Jan 2010!

UPDATE FEB 2010:
Chuck is now being trained for the horseback field trial gun dog stakes. My daughter will be handling him to his FC! Watch for him in the 2010/2011 season. We wish her the best in this adventure!
