Rebel was entered into the GSPC/SA (German
Shorthaired Pointer Club of San Antonio) on the weekend of February
21 & 22, 2009. Rebel was marvelous! He hit the ground hard and kept
going! Rebel was run with a beautiful Weimaraner, both days. They
were both excellent in finding their birds, holding their points and
it really was interesting both days. The female Weim "Maggie" was a
big running girl and in Rebel's competitive nature, he kept pace
with her. Melissa (handling Rebel) and Mr. McInnis (handling Maggie)
were forced to sprint uphill, both days, to keep pace with the
dogs!! We had a large following in the gallery, as a lot wanted to
see the black/white GSP run his test!

Rebel had a very good score both days! He passed
his first 2 legs of his Junior Hunter test! We look forward to
finishing his JH title and continuing his training toward Senior
Hunter!
On March 1, 2009: Rebel passed his 3rd leg of his
JH title. He did extremely well!! More info to come as we finish his
title soon!
